Hugh
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the manager to the cleaning staff. The hotel had a charming and rustic atmosphere, with beautiful Catholic decor and an indoor garden. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with decent beds and flat-screen TVs for our entertainment. We also appreciated the availability of cable programming and the ability to surf the web easily. It was a great option for us to explore the heart of Tapachula at an affordable price.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel had a designated children's play area or activity room.

The staff was helpful and the room was big and had everything I needed even though it wasn't plush. Every thing worked. Nice inside courtyard too. Safe. Quiet. They have water for refilling bottles, cold and hot for coffee and tea, etc.
Ground floor is dark, no windows to outside. Upstairs does have some window light, where I stayed, but more would have been nice. Access to the roof would have been nice for the views.

Very friendly staff, spacious room with toiletries (including a free disposable razor!) included. The hotel is clean and great value for money, especially since the room came with cable and a private bathroom!
The fans are not too strong so the heat takes a bit getting used to for the first day or so.

Friendly, helpful staff and clean, cheerful hotel.
It's a little hot without a/c, but tolerable with the ceiling fans.

I stayed one night on my way through and would have had no problem staying longer. The hotel looks very new with a big entry way and clean rooms. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect, very central and near great restaurants. The price is by far the best in the area. The rooms are clean and quiet with comfortable beds and powerful ceiling fans. The showers have cold water, which is welcome in the heat of Mexico.
Would recommend this hotel.

As a couple, we loved the friendly staff, who brought us tea and provided excellent service. the budget-level hotel had a high-class feel, and the cold showers were refreshing in the hot Tapachula weather. the two ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable, and we enjoyed the English movies on the cable TV.
We felt immediately at home and had nothing to complain about.
